If its going to have an internal power supply with the type of specs that are being thrown around, the shell has to be at least as big as XB1. My guess is slimmer like XB1S just wider/deeper so it looks more sleek.

With all the talk of 4k and the bashing of Pro and no 4k BD drive, its hard to believe Scorpio won't also have one but PS with Pro kept pushing 4k streaming and that's exactly what this looks like with Scorpio. However, Phil has hinted multiple times that Scorpio will be heavily gaming focused, and no 4k BD drive would save some costs. Maybe make XB1S the full media machine while Scorpio is just a gaming/streaming machine? Most of those hardcore XB gamers already have an XB1S anyway and the PS gamers have gone without a 4k BD drive, so why use one? This way those XB1S gamers can either keep their console and buy a Scorpio full price, or give up the 4k BD drive when they trade it in. What I'm curious about is if Scorpio could get away with just a regular 50GB BD drive for its lifespan.

I've seen a couple YouTube vids talking about rumors that the Scorpio CPU is highly customized with a lot of Ryzen baked into it. The more they push this 4k no compromises, the more I believe its true. I'm also quite convinced right now that Scorpio is more next gen than a mid gen upgrade really, but is simply being marketed as an upgrade do to the Pro and UWP.

There are also more and more YouTube vids and articles talking about $499 base 4k computers. Scorpio may be aiming for just this. I think one way or another they will make the price $499. Maybe they just subsidize it, or if they have to, leave out mass storage to keep the price down, and have you the customer, buy your own external mass storage device. Since you being a hardcore spec console gamer, probably want a bigger/faster storage drive than they would install stock anyway.

I cant see the price of Scorpio being less than $499 with all the new info. In that case I don't see the Pro price dropping to $349 other than maybe Black Friday and Boxing Day. $100 gap worked last time (for dif reasons) and with PS4's momentum it should be enough at this point still. If Scorpio is more than $499 by chance, then Pro will not drop at all in price, and God have mercy on XB Scorpio.

If I had money to bet, I would put it all on Scorpio being $399. Pro will drop to $350 and then get the additional $50 off for the holidays, so it will effectively be $299 for the holidays. The same source that gave this info also said that the Scorpio will use UHD blu-rays like the S.
