Um, you haven't read the user reviews have you? The game had hundredsof them on the first day of release, and all of the negative ones were oneliners from people angry that the game outreviewed Horizon.

Let's compare Amazon reviews instead, which are by verified buyers.

4% are 4-stars

3% are 3-stars

1% are 2-stars

4% are 1-star

Seems to match the critics much more accurately. 

Same goes for all the games in metacritic user score. For exampe TLOU has 550 reviews in red category...
