DDOS'ing is obviously silly, but I don't think anyone should be surprised.
There is always someone who recognizes an opportunity for traffic in this sort of situation, and it's not just video games. I recall in the NBA both Shaq and LeBron were 1 vote shy of being the unanimous MVPs, and said 1 vote immediately had an article ready to explain why and so forth.
If I had to guess who would be the one to offer a lower score it would have been Jim, so that isn't remotely surprising; this is the sort of thing that's made him popular.
The Slate 6/10 is a bit more random, especially given that, according to the reviewer's recent grades, that means Dragonball Fusion is the superior game lol
Still, it's absolutely not a mere coincidence that the only reviews to come out a week after all the others did are mixed. Those who offered their initial reviews had no idea how high this thing would rate, and it must have appeared an almost irresistible opportunity to be the lone global dissenters that, obviously, they both elected not to resist lol
It's a clickbait grade. The odds of the only two reviewers to review the grade after it achieved a 98 sincerely feeling it deserved a 60-70 when the previous low was a 90 is virtually nonexistent. These grades were made with all of the other grades in mind.
