A lot of Sony studios ended up biting the dust or doing terribly (media molecule comes to mind). Also, rare did Microsoft very well for those kinect games. They were to be commended for making the kinect the success it was on the 360. Thats why they are around because they do what Microsoft tells them. Also, I have some friends playing sea of theives and they are telling me it is a fun game. They can't give out too much details due to NDA.

Could you elaborate on the bolded? It seems a bit early to be passing that kind of judgement on MM. Dream has had a slow development, but it's understandable given how ambitious its goals are for what is ultimately a very small studio, and that a portion of the studio spent a while with Tearaway.

Dreams seems to be a game that isn't going to do very well financially and we haven't heard or seen anything from it yet for a while. Sony is shutting down a lot of UK studios, kind of like Microsoft did with Lionhead. Their laws and taxes are very anti business and games have to sell well or they can't be continue. That is the world we live in. Trust me, I would love certain games to be made still like the Resistance series.
