Your comments about how silly it is, just proves my point. Console launches require years of work and millions upon millions of dolllars. You don't launch one just to respond to something that was actually revealed months after yours. Scorpio is a product. It exists. We know it's coming in 2017 and is the most powerful console ever. The article you linked and made a thread around, confirms all of this. The difference in me saying it's the most powerful console ever and you saying it never was, is my post is based in reality on information we have. Yours is based on lollipops, farts, and make believe. Sure, one day another console will come and it will be more powerful than Scorpio. Who cares? It is irrelevant to what I said. Microsoft is taking their time with Scorpio and giving us a huge upgrade. Different than what Sony did with Pro. And the result is... the most powerful console ever :)

Months before Sony formally revealed the Pro at its own event, but days after Sony confirmed the Pros existence. Literally. Sony confirmed Neo existed on June 10th. Low and behold, MS confirmed Scorpio existed at that years E3... On June 13th. As for rumors? Show me your proof. I'd like to see the earliest Microsoft talked about iterative upgrades with Xbox one. I gave you my evidence with citation and all, so now it's your turn otherwise "rumors came out for Scorpio first" is nothing more than an opinion with nothing to back it up.
And I'm not making assumptions about anything you're saying. I said that if someone tried to argue that the Pro was copying Scorpio, they would look stupid. Someone would look less stupid to argue that Scorpio is copying Pro considering they're both mid gen upgrades, one launched a year before the other, one had rumors before the other (at least as far as I know. October, 2015 for pro. Where was your proof again?) and one had a unified strategy clearly in place before the other (what with Shannon Loftis stating initially that Scorpio could have exclusives if Devs wanted to target that device, yet flip flopping on that statement shortly later - contrast that against pro where it was quickly shot down that it would have exclusives and that was that, no confusion, with a clear and thought out strategy).
Also, I'm not saying it never will be. I'm saying you keep referring to the console as if its a commercially available product now when it's not. You keep saying Microsoft has the most powerful console ever, when they don't. You're applying products from the future to the present. Which is why I pointed out that, using your same lollipops and farts logic, by applying other products from the future, Scorpio is already redundant. That's not how I feel, but that is the same logic you're using. I'm a technical person, you should say things more in the vein of Scorpio WILL be the most powerful console, not Scorpio IS the most powerful console. Past/present/future tense. They all have separate meaning.
