Personally it's hard for to to adjust. I'm so used to the original ones that the older ones just seem off. I had the same problem when watching the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy gameplay.

Maybe it's a nostalgia thing? I definitely know what you mean, when I first heard the remastered songs something seemed off, but after listening to them all enough I sort of went "Well they're not the originals, nothing will ever beat them, but they're still really good!", it's nice that the PS4 and PC versions of the game let you pick between them... I did my first playthrough on PS4 with the remastered soundtrack just to hear how it all went together ingame, pleasantly surprised to find that the new soundtrack worked, but my two following playthroughs were done with the original soundtrack, since... personal reasons again.

Probably. I'm heavily biased towards nostalgia, which is why although I was only born in 1998, my favourite video game is from 2001 (FFX), my favourite album is form 2000 (Hybrid Theory) and my favourite movie is from 1999 (The Matrix), and it's been like that for awhile!
