If he's wrong on something he'll just go quiet on it or try to hand wave it away rather than ever admitting he was wrong. For example he harrassed President Obama about the birth certificate conspiracies and loudly claimed he'd pay $5 million to any charity of Obama's choice if he produced his birth certificate. Well Obama produced the certificate, and wouldn't you know it ... Trump never paid a dime and quietly never mentioned the $5 million boast again. This is a man who isn't of very high moral character to begin with but he's adept at creating a character that can deflect, basically learned from his years in reality TV and wrestling cameos. It's fine to get upset, throw a tantrum whatever once in a while, adults do that. The way he conducts his general presidency with petty sniping on Twitter and all that is beneath the office, no president, even W. Bush was far more professional and dignified. |
