How's that monitor for gaming? Do you notice lag? And what about the text, is it too small to read? (for comparison, I have a 23" 1080p monitor and the scaling is left at the default 100%).

I'm not a fan of big screens, but I'd like to go with a higher resolution.

Hi, it's fantastic as far as IPS monitors go. Amazon lists it as 8ms but its actually 6ms in "gaming mode". Its classified as Class 1 [Less than 16ms / 1 frame lag] on TFT Central (http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell_u2515h.htm#lag). Text is scaled at 150% by default and everything is crip and clear. 100% scaling does put strain on the eyes despite text being clear as well well. Some users complained about lightbleed and unreliable menu button response,I havent had any issues with mine however. Overall its a fantastic monitor and I have no problem recommending it. All these reviews sold me on it:

Thanks!

Mine is also a Dell IPS monitor, the U2311H, so I don't mind trading a bit of lag for better colors. That this new one has even less lag is great news.

I guess I'd have to change the scaling (maybe I could set it at 125%), but that's not a problem at all.

Anyway, thanks for the input.
