Even so, thaty won't stop other engines from taking their own strikes that show what they can do compared to Decima, it's not the end all to be all engine.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
