When all games run at 4K I think (hope) devs will go more for framerate. I mean, no way they're going to start pushing for 8K right away..... right? That would be a complete waste.

We thought they would do that at 1080p and here we are. Knowing the devs they would just uselessly crank up AA at 4k so they are not overwhelmed by too many frames. Or the console makers put yet again potatoes instead of CPUs to make it impossible to go for 60.

I trust them to find a way.
