Bethesda and id Software announced today that the sign-ups for the highly anticipated Closed Beta for Quake Champions are now open on the game’s new official site. In order to celebrate this announcement, Bethesda released a new trailer for Quake Champions that can be viewed below.
Quake Champions is a competitive arena-style first-person shooter for the PC that promises to return fans to the frenetic, skill-based competition that made Quake an industry legend.
The game will feature a roster of unique characters, each with their own distinctive abilities, allowing you to fight the way you want.
Quake Champions is coming to the PC later this year, and its closed beta phase will most likely begin in a few months.

I was on the fence about this before with the focus on the whole "champions" focus they have with the upcoming title, but I'm willing to give it a shot and see how it pans out.
