To be honest, all of that should have boosted sales of the units at least, particularly territories that thrive on grey markets. Wii U just became scant on content pretty early on. Piracy is just another boogeyman to blame on the system not doing well. I mean, being that it's a dead console now, there's really no other option than for people to mod the hell out of it.
That being said... I hope people BUY Breath of the Wild at least.
