No worries. I know from your posting history that you're a level headed person, so it didn't bother me at all.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that, from my limited experience in the UK, the rules there work quite well. With designated areas for smoking outside airports, unable to smoke inside a flat because of all the mandatory smoke detectors, etc. That's a step towards the right direction. I'm sure it's far from perfect in reality, but it's 10x different what I've experienced in countries like Greece.

I taught that Greece had strict rules as a EU country, arent they obliged by those? I mean there are still some "bastions" in the EU that still allow smoking literally anywhere (Czech Republic). My girlfriend (non smoker) went nuts when even in a a high end restaurant there was actually no separate smokers section.

I don't know whether Greece has its own separate laws from the EU but I know that most laws are not enforced. Police officers tend to look the other way for a number of reasons, unfortunately. Not like in South America, but it's pretty bad.
