So, following the news that Horizon was the biggest new IP launch on PS4 (edit: we only know this for the UK), I started wondering just how well it sold. It was a little unclear (at least for me) if this meant it was the biggest Sony-published PS4 new-IP game, or the biggest new IP game on PS4 when counting other publishers as well.
If it was the biggest Sony-published new IP game, it puts the game at OVER 1.2 million units sold in its first week, by beating No Man´s Sky:
If it was the biggest new IP on PS4, considering all publishers, it might have even surpassed Destiny´s 2.14 million units:
So did the recent poll-thread with Horizon FW sales prediction, with "over 1 million - not gonna happen" just happen?
