I have a 1080p TV so I don't benefit from 4k. On my TV is the image much better if I have it down sampling from 4k to 1080p rather then just rendered in 1080p?

All it does is reduce the native render to 1080p to ensure it hits the 30fps target. To the best of my knowledge, that's all it does. Given how well it already hits that its 30fps target in 1800pC mode, it's a bit pointless. |
So draw distances and the amount of things loaded on screen doesn't get improved? Just frame rate. All those things are pretty exceptional anyway so I'm not sure it even matters.
