The thing is that if it turns out there are no diamonds to buy (which is what started the uproar even before that forum response), the point would be to not even buy the diamonds on the HD systems (and some 360 and PS3 owners said they would actually do it). Nothing, until ubisoft promises the Wii those diamonds, so we have the chance to buy them.

The point would be because if a developer thinks they can piss on one demographic, they could piss on more, and a boycott would be one way of letting them no we wouldn't take it. 



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
