I prefer digital (on Xbox, at least) but I do miss seeing new artwork and game cases on my shelf. If there was a way to buy a physical disc but still have the benefits of digital--mainly playing on two consoles at once and not swapping discs--I'd jump on it! Hell, I'd pay extra for a physical/digital combo.
