This was probably my most anticipated package this year and certainly the best one today.

I wished for this as a birthday present and it finally arrived! Without further adue, have a look.

What you're seeing here is basically a loot crate. But this one is filled with CANDY! Not just any candy, but JAPANESE CANDY! Since Japan is known for thebest and weirdest candy I've wanted to try this for a long time.

It's the regular box and contains 11 different items. From top left to bottom right we have:

- Potato chips in ring form
Taste absolutely fine. Only lightly salty.

- Peach caramel Corn
This one is actually amazing. tastes like cheese puffs but sweet and with very light peach flavor. I'm almost getting addicted.

- Cola flavored candy diamond ring
Cola flavored candy. Not really good. Looks and tastes cheap.

- Strawberry cotton candy
Tastes like what it says. Feels like high quality cotton candy.

- Green tea flavored filled baked things
Nice puff pastry but again with that green tea flavor. It's definitely not growing on me.

- Pickled Sakura Daikon
Actual pickled Daikon. Most probably would not qualify in most countries legally as candy. I like pickled things and this one was quite tasty.

- Waku Waku Animal Soft Candy (this one is DIY with plastic shapes to form the animal you want)
I fail to get the point of this one. Why would I want to work for my candy? it's just 2 tiny plastic shapes with 2 kinds of different flavored soft candy. I didn't even bother and ate the soft candy raw.

- Chocolate wafer with green tea flavor
Again with the green tea in the chocolate. Not terrible but not for me.

- Grape flavored animal Gummy
Very grapey, quite tasty with the bonus of chewing on cute animals

- Sakura mochi
This one was actually suprising. It's little chocolate pieces that have inside something that very much resembles the exact taste and consistency of real Sakura Mochi.

- Chocolate cookies green tea flavored
The inner chocolate is like 30% chocolate and 70% green tea aroma. It doesn't taste bad but I'm not a big fan.

Sooooo... this is certainly something. I doubt everything will taste great but I'm looking forward to trying them all. Gonna certainly savor them over the next days.

I'm a bit disappointed though that it didn't contain any Umaibou. But I'm definitely getting another crate next month so fingers crossed!
