The Framemeister is apparently retro gamings heaven. Other than that, the best picture you can usually get out of your consoles is RBG. it's miles better than composite, but some american versions of consoles don't have it. It's a PAL standart though, so most european versions of consoles do have it.

When he said SCART, he was referring to RGB. That being said, something like the Framemeister or at least something else is necessary since NTSC TVs don't have a SCART input.
