Humans are much better at it because our forebrains are more developed compared to other animals.  This capability is absolutely 100% dependent on this area of the brain.  When this part of the brain is damaged, we lose that ability.  Look up Phineas Gage for instance. account for human conscience, free will

So how does evolution account for human conscience?  any evidence or do I have to have a lot of FAITH

What's your alternative? Are you asking these questions because you're curious, or because you have another belief that would conflict with evolution?
