Pretty much the same resoponse. I get the feeling you didn't read past my first sentence. There is no theory called "the theory of evolution". There is "the theory of evolution by natural selection". This is a model that explains the observable phenomena of evolution. It doesn't address the question of whether or not evolution happens. It addresses how the observable phenoma of evolution works. Evolution is not a theory. It's a thing that happens. There are theories to explain it, but it itself is not a theory. |
You stated it was not a theory. I stated it was a theory... And then you continue to state it's not a theory. Ergo. Not the same.
If someone says "The Theory of Evolution" that does generally include everything under that heading, including Natural Selection... And also includes other aspects of evolution that isn't Natural Selection such as Nature of Inheritance.
Ergo, The Theory of Evolution is indeed a real thing.
