After previous entries in the series that were instantly declared "great" upon release and then the fanbase later largely decided that maybe it wasn't as great as we all initially thought (Twilight Princess & Skyward Sword), I'm withholding judgement until I play the game myself. With that said, much of what's been shown seems to suggest that Nintendo has learned from past mistakes, so I'm definitely coming in with more optimism. Now if we could only move past the usual "Ganon threatens to invade or has already taken over Hyrule" setup...
