OCULUS IS CUTTING $100 OFF THE PRICES OF BOTH THE RIFT AND TOUCH CONTROLLERS
http://www.pcgamer.com/oculus-is-dropping-the-price-of-the-rift-and-touch-controllers-to-600/
The Oculus Rift was $600 when it launched in spring 2016, and now that's the price of the Rift and the Oculus Touch controllers, which previously cost an extra $200. Oculus announced on Wednesday that it's lowering the price of the headset and controllers by $100 each, making the new combined price $600 (technically $598, as the Rift is now $499 and the Touch controllers are $99).

>>I don't know how they're going to pay Zenimax the money they owe them if they lower the price of the thing. Or maybe theyare  lowering it because they need to sell more in order to pay them... or simply to sell, because it looks like Vive is wining.

http://www.pcgamer.com/fortnite-epics-minecraft-meets-tower-defense-mash-up-will-be-out-this-year/
Remember Fortnite? It was revealed in 2011 as a sort of Team Fortress 2 meets Minecraft hybrid, and there was an alpha test in 2015, which was also the year it was supposed to be out. We've heard little about it since then outside of alpha updates, though—until today, when Epic Games co-founder Tim Sweeney said during a talk at GDC that it's set to ship "in the year ahead."

THE MASS EFFECT: ANDROMEDA MULTIPLAYER BETA HAS BEEN CANCELLED [UPDATED]
http://www.pcgamer.com/the-mass-effect-andromeda-multiplayer-beta-has-been-cancelled/
As reported last year by Gamespot, Mass Effect producer Fabrice Condominas indicated on N7 Day last year—that's November 7—that a Mass Effect: Andromeda multiplayer tech test would take place prior to the release of the game. Today, however, BioWare said in a blog post about its presence at the upcoming PAX East that the plan has been scrapped.
Update: In response to my inquiry, BioWare sent over the following statement. "Our team worked extremely hard building, testing, and balancing multiplayer, and we ultimately determined that a tech test would not be necessary."

>>I hope, for their own safety, that everything works fine at launch. Or maybe not, so I can put a Nelson and laugh at them.
