Wow.
I'm glad the game became what it is, looking at these things. Awesome that they basically made a new NES Zelda just to test concepts for Breath of the Wild. An 'alien'-invasion type story could maybe even work, but it'll need to be fantasy rather than science-fiction. I could believe "Them" in Majora's Mask, but the straight-up flying saucers would be very much out of place. Never mind the Biker Link (now we know where Mario Kart Link comes from I guess), 'Cool-Guy' Link and Link the Guitar Hero, that's just silly.
Oh, and Ganondorf's wearing a Metallica t-shirt in that comic part next to the flying saucer picture, lol.
