The "Advance Wars meets Fire Emblem" game teased by Chucklefish last month has been officially unveiled as Wargroove, a turn-based wargame with support for single and multiplayer strategic good times. Players will choose from one of 12 unlockable, "groovy" commanders, each with a lengthy campaign "exploring their motivations and personality," or square off against their fellow humans in local and online multiplayer skirmish and co-op play.

The first of four "themed digital expansion packs" included in the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass was revealed last year as They Shall Not Pass, which adds four maps, two vehicles, a new game mode, and the French to the Great War FPS. Today EA unveiled the remaining three parts of the package, which collectively will bring the Russians to the front, incorporate naval warfare, give us a disastrous campaign against the Ottoman Empire, and introduce players to some of the most hellishly apocalyptic battles of the war.

OVERWATCH UPDATE: ROADHOG HOOK NERF, BASTION CHANGES, AND CUSTOM GAME BROWSER ARE LIVE
http://www.pcgamer.com/overwatch-update/
Overwatch update 1.8 is now live, bringing with it changes to the lovable but long-neglected turret hero Bastion. The slate of changes, which aims to increase Bastion's viability in its mobile Recon mode, while making its Sentry (turret) mode into more of a tank-buster, are the first updates the Omnic robot has received since Overwatch's beta.

HEARTHSTONE’S SMALL-TIME BUCCANEER NERF IS NOW LIVE
http://www.pcgamer.com/hearthstones-small-time-buccaneer-nerf-is-now-live/
Even if you’re currently wearing two eyepatches, anyone who has played Hearthstone since the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan expansion dropped can’t have failed to notice that Small-Time Buccaneer was a bit too strong. And by strong, I mean absolutely bloody broken. But as of now, the dread pirate’s reign of terror is (hopefully) over. The promised nerf to Buccaneer—which reduces the card’s health from 2 to 1, making it much easier to handle— is now live on all servers.

IGN has posted a 17-minute Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay video featuring the opening segment of Peebee's loyalty mission. It's not clear exactly what's going on—the video has been edited for spoilers, which is very considerate but leaves a few gaps in the narrative—but it showcases character and environmental interactions, pathfinder profiles, and of course plenty of combat.

THE HUMBLE ARMA BUNDLE IS NOW LIVE
http://www.pcgamer.com/the-humble-arma-bundle-is-now-live/
Bohemia Interactive's long-runnning Arma series stands out from the modern military shooter crowd through its dedication to authenticity. In fact, in 2013 we named Arma 3 our Simulation of the Year, quite a feat for an FPS. If that sounds like your bag, the Humble Arma Bundle offers one of the best prices ever for Arma 3 ($15), nevermind the fact that you're getting much more at that price.

Ron Gilbert has announced that Thimbleweed Park, the old-school point-and-click adventure with reversible rolls of toilet paper, will be out on March 30. Pricing remains a closely-guarded secret, but the game will debut on Steam, GOG, and also Xbox Live if you'd rather play it on a console for some reason.

STEEL DIVISION: NORMANDY 44 IS A REALISTIC WW2 RTS COMING THIS YEAR
http://www.pcgamer.com/steel-division-normandy-44-is-a-realistic-ww2-rts-coming-this-year/
Publisher Paradox Interactive and Wargame/RUSE creators Eugen Systems are on a mission to make “the most authentic real-time tactical game” set in World War 2. At least, that’s how Eugen’s Alexis Le Dressay introduced me to the upcoming Steel Division: Normandy 44 in a Skype call filled with talk of impassible French hedgerows, the stress of being under machine gun fire, and making 1:1 scale maps from aerial photography of Normandy taken during the actual conflict in question. It’s a tall order, as historical accuracy doesn't always equate to enjoyable gameplay. But Le Dressay sounded inspired by that challenge.
