Regardless of what you think of Phantom Menace now, I'm sure when it was in theaters and you saw it you were excited, happy, thrillerd, ect when you walked out. It was finally a new star wars movie. It had cool new fancy battles that shamed the originals. (choreographed to hell, I mean) Then the excitement wears off and you can judge. It's why I never scream GOTY for new games. Wait a couple months after you beat a game and look back on it and 9 times out of 10 you would now rate it lower. |
Yeah, the pacing for FA was just too quick and constant action and noise is not what the good Star Wars films (4 and 5) were all about...
