I don't have time to look or reply to any of this properly (too busy at work today ) Immediate thoughts: +ve: - graphics look cool - original stuff from Sony makes people happy - finally breaking ground, leaves MS to catch up (in virtual world anyway) -ve: - what they are showing is the "potential", not the "average playing experience". For various reasons (technical - such as bandwidth limits, no camera, etc) the average experience may be much weaker - good luck to them handling THOUSANDS of players (what they are effectively doing is building a MMO.. into the system itself) - good luck with loading times, streaming of video/sound, etc - *** they might have some serious fun filtering the PORN out of the system (audio, video, etc). Otherwise PS3Home = PornOnline - nothing to do with games (Sony forming their "own" internet) - wait till Sony start charging for items.. look cool Tshirts to put on your character. Will discuss more in a few hours... PS: WELL DONE SONY!!!!! PPS: I told my partner about this, and she was very excited. She then asked me how much a PS3 costs (and it all went downhill from there). Still not getting one ;) Now wait for MS's response...
