Yeah, I just read that tweet, but he also goes into more detail in later tweets, seems there's still an issue with the joy cons clip being very fragile, not exactly something you want from something that is designed to hold the controller in place.
I still stand by my assertion that they are most likely going to quietly release a revised version with a stronger latch material within this year.
Confirmed with a second Switch that the joycons don't normally slide out of a rail without pushing the release button. Ours broke!

On one hand, it's good that it isn't likely to be an out-of-the-box problem. But also? Drops happen. One drop, both controller tabs broke.
