I make it sound like I'm uncomfortable with it, which I am. You are putting words in my mouth (typing). That's on you.

I vehemently disagree with your opinion, but respect it. To each their own.

You being unformfortable with it shouldn't be their problem, it should only be yours.

Ok, the guy is worried, so I guess it's not completely off topic for him.

I guess my point was (and still is) that if you worry about sexual predators and child molestors, transgenders should not be the focus of that conversation; child molestors should be. Child molestors are not the same thing transgenders, so in that sense it's off-topic to me.

I have 2 daughters myself, and transgenderism doesn't worry me one bit more than 'straight' people when it comes to the restroom.

Absolutely, god damn exactly. Don't punish the innocent.

But the question is WHY is this a problem....what is such a big deal about the bathroom that this has become an issue? That's where I am confused and again this is coming from someone who has lots of friends that are part of the LGBT community that are just as confused.

I wouldn't say the LGBTQI community is confused. They have been putting up with this kind of bullshit for thousands of years.

Not really, one's feedom ends when mine begins. And forcing me to accept something that it's not my belief is not just my problem. It is everyone's problem when you try to instill your belief into someone else's throat. I won't be forced to accept something that is weird and foreign to me. I will also not be forced to use a pronoun that I don't want to use to describe someone who is obviously a man or a woman.

I take it you are a liberal, there are a lot of policies that are out there, are coming, or are proposed/something republicans want that I can list and dismiss your opinion by saying, "it is only your problem buddy, sorry".
