Mostly suggests to me that Bill Maher is (or was) sexist and homophobic because of his teen fantasies.
He thinks and adult man having sex with an early teen girl is and should be a crime. But that an adult woman having sex with an early teen boy should not be. He thinks women can't rape men / boys. And clearly he thinks men having sex with early teen boys is not defensible.
So basically in Maher's morality anyone (who has at least reached puberty I imagine) can have sex with an adult woman, but adult men must be legally restricted from certain sexual encounters.
Arguably that's not a hypocritical position. He himself admits it is a social double standard, but it's a double standard he thinks is reasonable and morally defensible.
I don't agree and therefore I think he has no moral grounds for differentiating himself from Milo on this point. But I don't think Maher considered Milo to be an odious and harmful media and political figure based on Milo's sexuality or sexual proclivities.
Anyway, I have basically no respect for Maher anymore, because he's an anti-vaxxer nutjob. And a pretty rabid atheist too. Seems a bit weird being an anti-vaxxer AND an athiest. But I guess even among athiests you can have crackpot conspiracy theorists.
