I been to Chicago, nice city but I think the crime and segregation is a very negative part of the city.
The issue is Chicago is a big democrat city ruled by corrupt mayors and leaders for decades and is now a city with extreme income inequality, where one side of the city is growing with great culture and diversity and another is segregated and crime ridden.
Imo Chicago likely requires some real leadership to help clean it up from all the corruption that exists.
