Hell I still have Rise of the Tomb Raider in wrapped in plastic because I have no desire to play it. I cannot immerse myself in a game that has a female lead, and therefore takes away from the experience for me. I have tried, does not work.
Nothing against the vision of the developer, but I have no desire to play these games no matter how good they are because I already know that I cannot enjoy myself playing as a female lead. Nothing wrong with these games, but I will not blow my money to support them when I already know I will not be able to enjoy it as much as I should. |
But that doesn't make sense, because I assume that you interact with women every day. So they should be at least more relateable than somehow being able to imagine being a robot/alien/in a fantasy setting.
