When we have too much of a good thing, it becomes less "good" to the point where the entire experience is dulled and becomes mundane. This service, along with services like it, are not good for the consumer in that regard.

Exactly. The fact is a lot of people once they finish a movie or a game they don't go back or play it anymore. This has a lot of value to a lot of people.
