Maybe. But I did say go to jail, rather than just get arrested. The US still uses jurors right? Jurors that may well have daughters of their own? In which case good luck convicting a guy for beating up another guy trying to enter the womens bathroom right behind a little girl.

That's if he'd be willing to go to court. The vast majority of people take a plea bargain because they have work/a family and they can't afford the time to go to a trial.
