I don't know if Wii owners feel like every game needs to be on their system (I realize you're generalizing here), but there does seem to be an awful lot of ruffled feathers over the fact that many big games being developed for the PS3/360 are not in consideration for a Wii port unless there's a PS2 port.

The assumption seems to be that now that the Wii is the dominant platform in sales, that it should be the dominant platform for development, despite having the lowest hardware capabilities.

It's reached a point where people are now touting the "unrealized" processing capabilities of the Wii as though the games should look so much better than currently, or at least look as good as Nintendo's best first party efforts.

These are typically the same people that believe Conduit will provide 360 level visuals on the Wii. Or that PS3/360 games with rendering resolutions below 720p means that there's only a "minor" difference between 480p visuals on the Wii. Or how great 480p visuals look on their giant HD display.

Did anyone buy the Wii for its graphical capabilities? I didn't.
