Dude, you are thinking in really small and in general terms.
Also, see again how you say "having sex". You are projecting your own preconceptions. Think about how this could have been a premiditated decision where they thought that it was the best time to have the children. The woman is more fertile in this age and the mother wouldn't be as old when the children grow up, while still beeing able to live elderly life together. That is the problem. Each case is it's own case. There is no just general measure. What we got atm is simply a shotgun shot spread to try and prevent it. It is in no way fair in every specific case and i'm not gonna pretend it is to look more self-righteous than thou.
I would say try to open you mind, but i think you are dead set on seeing it in just a general fashion.
