So the French nationalists are to blame? I know about their only right wing party, but they've never won anything significant. How can you blame them for something they did not control.

I don't mean the party, I mean nationalistic people that see every immigrant (especially from certain origins) as burden/threat

and those are in every party and have led the country for decades
