Sony is always welcome to make a similar plug and play console with the PS1 or PS2, but I doubt it would sell as well as the NES (especially at the same price point). |
When every single Nintendo system is outsold by Sony's PS4 every year since PS4's release (minus a year for the 3DS?) wouldn't it be unwise to say Nintendo is the stronger brand simply based off Amazon's heavily fluctuated NES standings?
The NES clearly has interest among the gaming community but nothing compared to PS4 or Xbox One or Switch, yearly sales will reflect this quite well. I'm not disagreeing with you that Nintendo is the stronger brand - Nintendo has proven that they can catch the market by storm - but to say Nintendo's brand is stronger based off temporary Amazon ranking's...I mean...there are MUCH better examples out there lol.
