-Obama is far from War hawk. The guy wanted to close Guantanamo and reduced the US military population in Iraq from over 100.000 to mere 1000's advisors and military security details. The guy didn't start any war and he did a lot to phase out our participation in full fledged wars. -I love whistleblowers but the peoblem is that in the process of this noble selfless act, some information can get operatives killed if not properly filtered. Chelsea Manning was released after investigations found out that her batch of info didn't compromise NatSec. -I'll need more info on the Mexicans deportation. Also, I wanna be clear here, no one would be deported with proper documents or if they didn't commit serious crime. I'll leave it at that. -The thing about Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), is that it was created by Bush administration. Also, they hold a lot of US debt. -When Obama took office, drone program was in its infancy and took quite a while to perfect its accuracy. It is a stain in his legacy, even though now the program is accurate and clinical as ever. Are you serious about him promoting socialism? One of the reasons Bernie is seen as blasphemous is because he supports socialist ideas and that rings alarms in the American minds. Where are you from? |
- And he didn't close it. He also got involved militarily in countries that Bush wasn't even a part of, msot notably Libya where NATO intervened
- While Chelsea Manning may be getting out soon, that was after she underwent torture and there are still people who are in jail from whistleblowing
- Proof that Obama deported more people than anyone else: http://www.wusa9.com/news/local/verify-did-obama-deport-more-people-than-any-other-president/408785995
- And the thing is Obama and the Democrats had two years with a majority in both chambers, specifically during the peak of the economic crisis, so they could have done something about it if they really wanted to
And Bernie Sanders didn't really promote socialism, he promoted what he called "democratic socialism" (which was in reality social democracy), he supported the continuation of the American state and of the capitalist economic system. As for me, I was born in Michigan and have American citizenship, but I've lived in Canada for most of my life (I also have Canadian citizenship).
