lol, wut? Yeah it is a feat to be lauded, he lowered crime rates. lol Sure he killed criminals, perhaps you want to give them housing and medals, but he's getting rid of the problem and making all non criminals safer because of it.

Give them housing and medals? You do realize that there's a fairly large chasm between handing out medals and free housing and outright killing them, right? Ask the Brazilian government how it works after a while if you just butcher criminals.

Put them through the justice system, if we say that it's alright to kill someone just because they've done something illegal, we're promoting a lawless society.

So, no, don't give them medals and housing. Let me ask you; if there's a family with kids who scream and cause chaos in the house, would you solve that by beating them bloody? Would that be a viable long term solution to the problem?

Duterte is a catastrophe. And, no, lowering crime by simply killing criminals is not a feat to be lauded, not any more than banning cars outrigth to get rid of drunk drivers would be. It's a cheap, cowardly and destructive option.

Our judiciary system is a failed one. It's bottle necked beyond belief. Processing of a case takes too damn long regardless of the nature of the case. As a government, our whole system is bogged down. Everything moves fucking slow because everything is done in just one place. That's one of the reasons he wants to distrubute the system around. He is actually pushing for Federalism. Hopefully this will work for us if it gets pushed through.

You might say that's just an excuse, but you wouldn't know till you experience the black hole our government system has. It's complicated. Whatever you might think of what he says, the government doesn't actually support unncessary killings. They know they gain very little from it. However, the scare tactic shows it works to a degree.

If you think there was nothing being done and just all plain senseless killing then you're reading too much mainstream news. There's already a rehab facility that's recently been turned over to the local government after recieving help and funding from a private business man. And once the new fiscal year starts, more budget will be reallocated for more Rehab centers.

So he's a catastrophe in some aspects, but he's not that catastrophic the way the mainstream media makes you believe.

Its funny since Trump got elected, media does not talk about this guy much anymore.

However I have some friends from that country and they seem normal and they support him.

Seems like Trump, dont like the man but like his policies.

That's because there's no Hilary or Obama trying to White Knight and herald their USA Champion of Justice brand to trigger unnecessary fiasco.
