Don't you wish? The thread was for those saying it was going to be 3 hours minimal in a previous discussion. The battery life is even less than the 3 hours Nintendo touted. This is absolutely terribe for any portability, sorry to say. Fans can come up with all sorts of excuses, but they know no portable console would get lack of flaming if it presented this kind of battery life. Also, i bet its even worse if you play an online game like mario kart. Point at hand: The Switch is terrible at beeing portable. This news isn't for me. :p |
"Update: We also ran a test using the system with the lowest brightness level and got 3 hours and 5 minutes of play time. All of our tests were done with the system in “Airplane Mode” which disables wifi.

So technically it can go over 3 hours at the lowest settings for breath of the wild. A little bit better and not that bad considering Breath of the Wild is an open world game. Also the switch can use usb-c charger so its alot more forgivable. Besides it lasts more than my computer for sure.
