Thats what i like about them sure some of those new IPs wont take off like The Order, Driveclub and a few others but if they keep trying (and they do) they eventually end up with something awesome and now the most recent example is Horizon.
Last gen some of the failed new IPs from them that i remember were MAG, Lair, Haze but eventually they came up with stuff like Uncharted, Little Big Planet and Infamous.
