No, it's not. The Dualshock 4 uses bluetooth and I can play it from behind my kitchen bench or with my knees blocking it when sitting on the couch.

Yep, I'll give you Lawlight that one. Never thought this day will come (just joking, no hard feelings ). I still had some DS4 problems, but that's not the usual. It can happen once a month. I think this is a big issue tbh. I'll test that myself when I get the console though. In the mean time, I'll wait for a Nintendo response about this issue. Lots of theories floating around.
