I'm fine with the games as a service direction MS going, because I enjoy online gaming and enjoy doing it on the best network. MS is never going to match what Sony does in volume of games, they've never even tried to.

Still even without the Japanese games you have: The Last of Us 2, Horizon, God of War 4, Spiderman,  Detroit, Days Gone, Dreams. Then you have the Japanese games that appeal to Westerners: Gran Turimo Sport and Death Stranding just to name a couple. 

 

All those titles aside from Dreams are system sellers. I think the gap is bigger than you think. 

 

6 of them are new IPs which is becoming more rare these days especially for first party. All are AAA aside from Dreams.
