Yes I would, actually I'm not buying one more because of that. Graphicwise it's fine, the battery life is simply awful, and you can't change it...

if you've looked at the leaked guts of the system (all over Neo GAF recently from some Asian soure) then you'd have seen that the battery takes up a massive amount of the space internally for the Switch. They literally squeezed in the biggest possible battery unless you were to raise the overall size of the system (which would be a no go, since its already pushing the limits on size for a hybrid handheld)

Also nobody has experienced the battery. The concept that 3 hours for a Skyrim like game on a handheld would be 'bad' is just ridiculous, its not bad at all

also, generally a company is going to be kind of conservative with guesstimates to be safe. For all we know Zelda might last 4 hours, it may depend. Also, as others have mentioned, the majority of games aren't going to be Skyrim sized. If Zelda lasts 3 hours in handheld battery mode then the average game will probably last like 5

at any rate, again, the internals for the Switch were leaked and the battery takes up like over half of the internal space. Nintendo did what they could, the sad reality is that a handheld (partial) system with aggressive specs is not going to be able to be powered for THAT long on-the-go with basically any battery
