Yeah it seems like the only hardware with high interest right now is the PS4, NES (lol), and the Switch (which is of course out of stock :P ). The 3DS slipping is no surprise really, if they want to spur it back to better sales they should seriously consider bringing the standard New 3DS over at a more reasonable price point. Not sure what the Xbone can do, the Scorpio talk is kinda sucking any excitement away and there's not exactly a plethora of exclusives in the first half of the year. |
I don't get your answer, I think you know that 3ds had supply issues after selling way more than what Nintendo was expecting on holidays... POKEMON ( or even super mario run to a lesser extend )

It was finally restocked recently ( after 1 + month of scarcity ) , but amazon has the price inflated because 3ds is still hard to be found in some stores...
Also, Pikachu New 3ds xl ( is being released on the 24th of february ) topped ps4 lately ( in weekly ) and sold out the first day it was made available for pre orders.
Nintendo has to provide a sufficient amount of units in stores , I guess that the newly switch production curtailed temporarily the 3ds one.
As soon as 3DS is so much cheaper than switch, don't wish for a price reductiion!
See Japan ( where 3ds has hit a point of saturation ) , switch hasn't affected 3ds sales at all, it's flat yoy( at least for the first seven weeks of 2017 ) , why cutting the price then?
