With a Syrian Population of 23 million people, you'd think their woudn't be any peopel to take in... 

It's not like Syrians want to leave their homes. They've lived their lives in Syria, they know the language and culture better, they have family and memories there, and they know that by moving that they'll have to learn a new language and new customs while simultaneously being hated by a large number of people and having to deal with homesickness. It's like so many people here have no sympathy at all for the refugees.
