I just think it's funny how people always scream "clickbait" whenever they see an outlier review for an exclusive. Sometimes it's clickbait, but alot of times it's not, people just scream "clickbait" without reading the review most of the time. Having read the low reviews for Horizon myself, I think they have may have some legit criticism about the writing and repetitiveness of the side content, just like I think many of the higher reviews have some legit praise about the graphics, originality, and combat of Horizon. Horizon is a game I will be playing myself btw, I was interested in it beforehand and the scores are good enough for me to give it a try. |
Fair enough......
But what would you now say of all the numerous reviews that praised horizon for its story, how it was told, making teh side quests interesting and how bold and shocking the story was at the end (whatsver that is). A LOT of the reviewers said something similar about the games story.
Thats what makes these outlier reviews suspicious. Cause what they are saying mostly doesnt fit with the general consensus of the game. If anything it contradicts it.
Notice I said nothing about them complaining about the human AI.... thats ageneral criticism. But when a reviewer says things like bad, uninteresting story when every one else says different, says things like bad animation during NPC cutscens when everyone else says (and we can see) that its at least on par with the best RPGs have had to offer so far, when reviewers score a game like this that every single other person is praisiong LOWER than he scored the order 1886...... then yh.... I'm not buying that.
