Just 2 months into 2017 and we already some fantastic games like Yakuza 0, Nioh, and Resident Evil 7 and next week there is Horizon and in less then 2 weeks The Switch and Breath Of The Wild release.
and that is just within the first 2 to 3 months alone. We also have look forward to.

While most of these will likely not be like a 90+ on Metacritc I am sure at least most of games will be fun in their own right and even then there is a chance I have forgotten some games.
Though while some of these will probably get delay cought Red Dead and Xenoblade cough. There is still E3 which could surprise by having some big holidays that the first parties are working in secret or one's we know like God Of War and Spider-Man are actually set for this year or one's that haven't been annouced but have been leak like Pokemon Stars which would be the first mainline Pokemon game on home consoles.
So reguardless of platform it looks like we are in a treat this year.
