The government regulates the economy, the lobbyists contribute to government expidenture, the government decides what to do to people who try to interfere the economic norms, etc. The economy in its current state is inseparable from the government.

The government hardly has any power to regulate economy and practically ALL of the voters are lobbyists one way or another since citizens pose as conflicts of interests to the legislatures ...

What better tool is there out there for lobbying when you have the ultimate power to influence the legislature through voting ?

The citizens as a group have a lot of power, yes, but since they are frequently put at odds against each other, they do not have as much power as you seem to suggest. Anyways, I guess that this is getting off-topic anyways. I didn't vote for Trump, and I don't regret not voting for him nor do I regret not voting for someone else.
